Forty one Association members and their guests attended the National Memorial Arboretum for a Memorial Service in remembrance of those members of the Regiment who lost their lives in Northern Ireland during 'Op Banner'.

Gathered in 'The Glade' within the 'Ulster Ash Grove' on a lovely sunny Autumn morning, a short service took place conducted by the Reverend Stella Wallace-Tween of the National Arboretum. A short address was given by Major Peter Oakley MBE, Branch President. Mr Eric Roper laid a remembrance poppy wreath and read out the Northern Ireland Roll of Honour. Mr George Prosser presented a Regimental plaque to the Reverend Stella Wallace-Tween and thanked her for conducting what was a very moving service.
