Industry research suggests it may be a little too soon for everyone to be comfortable attending events at full capacity. With this in mind, the Arboretum has taken the decision to adopt a safe and sensible approach to bookings. The Arboretum will continue to operate at a reduced capacity, ensuring that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. With the UK now in stage 4 of the Government’s Road Map out of lockdown, here’s how they plan to keep you safe and ensure that you enjoy your visit:
Capacity control – for everyone’s comfort we are limiting the numbers in our buildings and grounds and pre-booking is recommended.
Clean environment – we regularly clean all areas and encourage visitors to wash and sanitise their hands.
Leave space – we encourage all to be considerate of others’ personal space.
Face coverings – face coverings are welcome/optional, and our team will continue to wear their face coverings indoors.
Whilst visitors are welcome to bring their own mobility aids to use, many visitors choose to hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair from the Arboretum for the duration of their visit. Mobility Scooters can be hired at a charge of £5 for the day, and wheelchairs for a donation of your choice. The Arboretum has a limited number of each available, so you are advised to pre-book them online ahead of your visit or by calling the telephone number below.
